Éire - Land of Myths and Legends is a captivating journey from coast to coast, offering an intimate exploration of Ireland's rich geography, ancient stonework, and the myths that have shaped its cultural heritage.

Overview

Using a virtual art exhibit as its base, this education module exposes to students to various art mediums, historical aspects of Ireland, along with some of the myths and legends that have shaped Irish culture. Included are additional supplemental activities, giving hands on experiences to enhance learning.

Appropriate for:

Upper grade school children: can be modified for different age groups. 

Prep work:

10-60 min +printing (depends on how many components of the module are used

Classroom time:

30 min - 2 hours (more if in-classroom projects are included);  

Technical Requirement:

Computer access required: the base of the module is a virtual art exhibit.

Activities:

Additional projects for individuals, small groups, entire class and can be assigned for classroom or homework.
